Ormiston Town Centre / HOYTS Cinema, Auckland

This large-scale commercial project in East Auckland was a fantastic opportunity for Topline's Roofing team to show what we're made of. With the successful installation of a warm roof system, the gold standard in insulation and efficiency, along with wall cladding, it was great to be part of the team delivering such great results in this striking complex.

Ormiston Town Centre was a sizable project, requiring two main contractors and three roofing companies. Topline was tasked with the North East of the Centre, including the HOYTS Cinema. This was a complex assignment with a major plant roof as part of the scope of works – this required multiple penetration flashings for other services such as air conditioning, heating, cooling, water, and power.

Commercial Warm Roof System Installed 

In total, the Topline team installed approximately 3900m2 of warm roof system, acoustic board, 380m2 of wall cladding, and 1800m of Legacy cladding. Another 600m2 of roofing and 220m2 of wall cladding was installed on the Town Square building itself.

Topline thoroughly enjoyed being a part of these works, collaborating with a large group of other contractors, and tackling on site challenges as a team, resulting in a successful and satisfying project.
